Just a quick post before I hobble upstairs

There are so many things I want to blog about - I want to take a minute to write down some of the cute things my kids say and do so that at some point, if I ever scrapbook, they will be written somewhere.

I wanted to make a list of the things I like about living in Regina.

I wanted to make a list of the things I miss about living in Calgary.

I want to tell you all about the great new friends we have made over the past few months.

I don't know - I likely won't do these posts this week (my hubby is home this week which means even less computer time than usual - if that is possible)

We had such a nice Christmas - most people who have this blog address should have received my Christmas letter, so you have an update, but we did have such a nice Christmas. There was no yelling or crying at my mom and dad's this year, which was nice. The kids all got along great and we played Cranium at Greg's mom and dad's so that was great too!!! I dunno if I could laugh more than when we play games like that at Greg's parents, what a great time I had!

(Speaking of our time at your house, Betty - keep on the lookout for the movie I left you a message about and the Mary book you gave Olivia - she finished it, but I was supposed to read it and I think I left it there.)

We had a 'Chinese gift exchange' in Greg's family this year, and it was a lot of fun. This year it will be even better, because we will be on the lookout for those kinds of $10 generic gifts to buy! I got a can of Tim Horton's instant French Vanilla Cappacino (yummy) and Greg brought home a $10 gift card for Value Village - now if they only ever had end tables, or some of that kind of stuff that we need.

All of the turkey was so good - the only thing wrong with it is not having any leftovers. My absolute favorite food is a leftover turkey (or chicken) sandwich on a homemade bun....yum!

I ate entirely too many pieces of a new square that Betty made this year - but it was so amazingly yummy. I will have to get the recipe, it is one that uses 4 pots, so she is not going to make it anymore....sigh.....all the good ones end up like that, don't they?

I have no pictures loaded onto my computer yet of our Christmas, but I will share a few of the ones of us decorating our tree!

I know, they are almost a month old, but oh well!

We all strung popcorn and cranberries this year.
Grace putting on the angel.

A work of art.

Comic relief!!!
