A trip to Dog River!

Today after church, just for fun, we took the 40 minute drive South of the city to see the town of Rouleau, better known to some as TV's Dog River!
I had such a fun time - even though it is just a regular small town in small town Saskatchewan! It was neat though to see the buildings that you see on TV, and we went into the coffee shop, looked at the souvenirs, laughed about different episodes! Man, I can't wait to get the season 2 and season 3 on DVD from my sister!

Greg and I used to quite often go on short road trips on weekends. We haven't done it much since we had kids however. I would like to see the practice be revived! It is just fun to go somewhere...really anywhere...even if it is just for an hour or two and a cup of coffee! I am looking forward to going to the Ft. Qu'Appelle area soon, it has been years since I have been out there!
