She celebrated her birthday at Dallas Valley Ranch Camp. So in this picture she is surrounded by her cabin mates and 175 or so other campers in the dining hall ready for supper!
We went out to have dinner with her, although we couldn't really have dinner WITH her because she has to sit with her cabin. So we had dinner in her presence and then hung out to visit with Stew and Betty (my in laws) for a while. They volunteer at DVRC for a week every year, and since Olivia has started going they work the week that she is there. It is good for her, makes me feel better and gave us a reason to go out and visit Olivia on her big day.
10 years, the big 1-0......wow!
Parent to a real tween - or maybe that is not until next year! LOL!!!
I am so blessed though - I mean she is such a sweet girl, so fun to be around, so enthusiastic and excited. I am glad that she is still as sweet as she was when she was a little girl.
It is a weird place to be in with her right now though, because I am a bit sad that she is getting so old, seemingly so quickly. But at the same time I am so excited to know her as she grows into adulthood. I am looking forward to talking about things and watching her mature - ready to be on her own and live the life that God has penned for her!
Anyway, I just wanted to share this picture, and give a tribute to my beautiful double-digited 10 year old daughter!
Man, do I feel old! LOL!
Olivia high on her chair having "Happy Birthday" sung to her by 200+ people! What fun, heh?

Hey Olivia! Happy 10th Birthday! Hope you had an awesome time at camp. Good thing your mom isn't getting any older (wink, wink!)
Love,
Mrs. Jones
